☑️Copy/Paste Hierarchy

Let's copy/paste complex hierarchies.

Transform More allows you to copy and paste transformation information for child objects simultaneously, streamlining your workflow and saving you time.

  • ⚠️ When searching for copy/paste targets, Transform More uses the object name as a reference. If the child object has a different name, copying and pasting may not work as intended..

Step 1 - Copy

  • Select multiple objects with complex hierarchy. ⚠️When selecting objects with complex hierarchy, only select the top-level objects and avoid selecting the child objects.

  • Once you've selected the objects you want to copy transformation information from, click the Copy button to initiate the copy process.

Step 2 - Select Target

  • To paste the copied transformation information to other objects, select all the objects you want to apply the information to. ⚠️When selecting objects, only select the top-level objects and avoid selecting the child objects.

Step 3 - Paste

  • Local/World Specifies the coordinate space to use for copy/paste. When using the "Local" option, we highly recommend that all objects are placed under the same parent. This will ensure that the objects align properly and give you the desired result.

  • choose the specific attributes you want to paste. ⚠️The attributes selected apply only to the top-level objects that are currently selected. Child objects are pasted with all attributes.

  • click the Paste button to apply the copied transform information to the selected objects.

Step 4 - Check the results

  • Make sure you get the result you want.
